THE HEALTHCARE LIE
She promised to protect Virginians' healthcare. She lied.
Kiggans cast the deciding vote for the largest cuts to Medicaid in history — ripping $1 trillion out of the program that seniors, veterans, and working families depend on.
Here at home, her vote cut nearly $44 million from Hampton Roads hospitals — putting rural hospitals on the Eastern Shore and in Franklin at risk — and could kick more than 21,000 of her own constituents off their health insurance.
And when Kiggans had the chance to make healthcare affordable, she voted NO on extending the tax credits that millions of families count on to pay for insurance — letting premiums more than double for the families who can least afford it.
